In September 2026 we typed a set of dating-app questions into Google and walked each one through the alphabet, collecting every completion it offered: 2,080 suggestions in all. 82 of them came back 10 or more times from different starting points. Those are the ones below.
One caution, because it matters: a suggestion shows how a question tends to be typed. It is not a count of how many people search it, so read these as patterns, not volumes.
What stands out
People want a person, not an article. 15 of the 82 most consistent suggestions end in “reddit”, which usually means the searcher wants real people's opinions rather than an article.
“Rate my profile” is a question of its own. 6 of the 82 ask someone to rate or review a profile, its photos or its pictures, rather than asking what is wrong in general.
Age is part of the question. 14 of the 82 name an age - over 40, over 50 and so on.
Most are a why. 21 of the 82 start with “why”: no likes, no matches, unmatched, ghosted.
Fixed the profile and still nothing? Sometimes it is the
pool, not the photos - the same profile does different numbers on different
apps. See which app suits you
That is an affiliate link: if you sign up I may earn a
commission, at no cost to you. It is how the reviews stay free with nothing
to buy afterwards.
Google's public autocomplete, the same suggestions the search box shows, read without an account. Each starting question was tried alone, with every letter a to z after it, and with a few question words. Gaming, login and outage searches were filtered out, since “match” also matches puzzle games.
