On Tinder most unmatches happen before a word is exchanged, and they are a second look rather than a reaction to you. Someone swiped fast, the match landed, they opened your profile properly, and the rest of it did not hold up what the first photo promised.
That is a profile problem and it is fixable. The other big cause - a queue full of matches nobody ever opens - is a housekeeping habit, and it is not about you at all.

Tinder is swiped faster than any other mainstream app. The decision is made on one photo, often in under a second, and there is no comment or prompt attached to force a moment of reading first.
So the gap between 'what made them swipe right' and 'what the profile actually contains' is wider here than on Hinge or Bumble. The unmatch is that gap closing.
This is the common one. Photo one is your best - sharp, well lit, flattering angle - and photos two through six are dark, low resolution, five years old, or all group shots. Opening the profile reads as a correction.
The fix is not a better lead photo, it is a less uneven set. A consistent, honest set of six beats one outstanding photo followed by five that undo it.
A blank bio on Tinder reads as a bot, and on Tinder that suspicion is earned. A bio that lists what you do not want - no hookups, no games, no drama, swipe left if - reads as someone who has had a bad time and is expecting more of it.
Two or three plain lines about what you actually do is enough. The bio is not there to win anyone over, it is there to stop the profile looking like a warning.
A lot of people periodically unmatch everyone they have not spoken to. It is a tidying habit, it happens in batches, and it has no content about you in it.
If several unmatches arrive on the same day from matches of different ages, that is what this is. There is nothing to fix.
Message early. The longer a match sits unopened, the more likely it is to be cleared - by them tidying, or by you being reconsidered. A short first message within a day removes most of that risk.
And check the set, not the lead. Open your own profile as a stranger would and ask whether photo four would have made you swipe right on its own.
