Ghosting is common, it is mostly about the other person's discomfort with saying no, and it is not usually a verdict on you. But the STAGE at which it keeps happening is real information, and that part is worth reading carefully.

At this stage the person has invested nothing, so the cost of disappearing is close to zero and it happens constantly. If it is every conversation, look at whether your messages ask anything answerable and whether the thread was going anywhere.
A conversation with no proposed next step is the single strongest predictor of a fade.
The most disorienting version, and usually one of: they enjoyed it without feeling attraction, they were seeing several people and chose otherwise, or something in the second half changed their read.
Look for a pattern across dates rather than analysing one. If several went well and none continued, common causes are talking at length about ex-partners, an interview dynamic, or dates that ran long enough to lose momentum. Ninety minutes is plenty.
Almost always someone who was never going to meet: comfortable with the attention, uncomfortable with the step. The tell is reliable - repeated warmth combined with repeated vagueness about specifics.
Propose something concrete early. It costs you two weeks of pleasant messaging and saves you two months.
Ghosting rates are high for almost everyone, including people who do very well on these apps. Treating each one as feedback on your worth will change how you write to the next person, and that is the thing that actually costs you.
