On Bumble people decide from a photo and a fragment of text, at speed, in bulk. A profile that would read well if someone slowed down never gets that chance.
That means your first photo has to work at thumbnail size, in a fraction of a second, with no context. Test it by shrinking it on your phone until it is postage-stamp sized. If you cannot tell what is happening, neither can they.
The whole app depends on one side opening. A profile with nothing specific in it makes that genuinely hard, and the usual result is a match that expires unopened.
One concrete, answerable detail is worth more here than anywhere else. Not a personality summary - a fact somebody could react to.
