Cold Profile › answers
On Hinge, no likes almost always means the profile is not being shown, or is being shown and skipped on photo one. Hinge surfaces people slowly and deliberately, so a small drop in appeal turns into a very quiet feed.
The prompts matter, but they matter second. Nobody reads a prompt on a profile they have already scrolled past.

Widen your distance and loosen your age range for a few days. If likes appear, the profile was never the problem - Hinge's pool outside big cities is small enough that a tight filter can reduce it to almost nothing.
This costs nothing and rules out the most common cause, which is why it goes first.
One clear, well lit photo, your whole face visible, no sunglasses, no hat, nobody else in frame. Not the most flattering one - the clearest one. Hinge crops to a square in the feed, so check what survives that crop.
A group shot as photo one is the most common mistake, and it costs more on Hinge than elsewhere: the format gives each profile more attention, and therefore more chance to be confused about which person you are.
Three prompts, each answered with something specific and concrete. "I'm looking for someone who likes to have fun" describes everyone and invites nothing. A named place, a real opinion, an actual habit gives a stranger something to reply to.
Prompts are what convert a look into a like on Hinge, which is why they are worth real effort - but only after the photo has earned the look.
Give each change four or five days. Hinge's feed moves slowly and a single day of data is noise. Changing three things at once is the most common way to spend a month and learn nothing.
Fixed the profile and still nothing? Sometimes it is the pool, not the photos - the same profile does different numbers on different apps. See which app suits you
